This newsletter is way overdue. So much has happened over the last three months. The Lord has
been very gracious to us in our ministry. We have seen God move in the hearts of many people. Under the difficult conditions of the past almost two years we have seen God provide miraculously in so many ways.
Please continue to pray
for the salvation of all those who attended the various meetings. Please pray that God will continue to work in and through the team working together. Our mission weekend meetings were well received and were a great
blessing. The Epic Solutions business training went well with 9 people completing the course. Positive feedback was received. One of those who completed the course, together with his wife has returned to Malawi and is going to start his own business. He has
3 children in Malawi and hopes to be able to stay with his family and provide for them. Please pray for them.
December was very busy and we were able to successfully reach around 1500 homes in the immediate area. We did have a number
of visitors and generally positive feedback. We trust God to complete the work started. We are still praying and looking for workers to head up our Friday night children and youth programs. Pray the Lord will lead us clearly and provide all
that we need.
Our outreach to refugees saw many helped by the local congregation. We were stretched beyond where we thought we could go in helping many. Even during the past few weeks with so many children needing school supplies and
new uniforms and transport, we have seen God provide. One of the wonderful experiences has been to see God provide from such unexpected people and sources. Indeed, God is good. All the time. As Covid has lifted, it seems our veggie garden
ministry has run its course. Those who worked in it and benefited from it seem to mostly have been able to get back to their businesses. At least trying to restart them, but still very dependent on the tourist traffic. We are sure others could benefit but
the Lord has not brought them to us. We remain open and expectant to what the Lord is going to do into the future. One area where we have not been able to make headway is in the ministry against human trafficking. We remain prayerfully alert
and open to this awful reality of trafficking in our world, praying that the Lord will keep us sensitive to this evil. We have done a little bit of prevention training among the children that come to Sunday school. On the church ministry
front, again we have seen God move. Our attendance has kept improving on Sunday mornings, while the evening meeting has dwindled to the point where we are considering making some radical changes. In the process, we have seen God move in the hearts of a number
of people. Henry is kept busy at the office with seeing people and trying the help them spiritually and sometimes with practical matters. We have been most encouraged by these developments. Sunday mornings we continue our walk through the
Gospel of John. This has been a very enriching experience for us as well as many others who have expressed appreciation. Growing in our knowledge, love and appreciation for the work of Christ for us on Calvary and in our hearts. We have a long way to go. During
January we did a short series on Spiritual Growth. This seemed to touch a real need and interest in many. We are hoping to conduct a baptism soon and a few people have expressed interest in becoming members of the congregation.
been very concerned about Sonia’s health. Her asthma and various related issues have been a real concern. She had extensive hospitalisation to try and deal with her breathing and lung problems caused by asthma. Please continue to pray for her improved
health. We want to thank you each one for your prayers, encouragement, and also financial support. Without this, we would not be able to survive. It is with a deep sense of humility and appreciation to God for His mercy and grace towards
us through you His people. We are deeply aware of our shortcomings and are constantly aware of God’s goodness and forgiveness towards us and using us to His glory, in spite of our weakness. Please pray that we will stay true and continue to grow in grace,
love and spiritual wisdom. Yours in Christ alone, Henry & Sonia
